USING AUTHENTIC TEXT AS THE BASIS OF A THEMATIC LEARNING EVENT WHEN TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

In teaching Russian as a foreign language, the activity-based approach ensures, among other things, the formation of the student's readiness for real communication in various fields of communication, which ensures the functionalization of knowledge and determines the relevance of the research. The purpose of the study is to select the language material, which at the initial stage will allow students to form linguistic and cultural (linguistic and foreign studies) competence. The authors conducted a comprehensive lesson (6 academic hours) dedicated to Maslenitsa for students of the preparatory department of Samara State Technical University with Russian language proficiency A1-A2. The basis of the lesson is authentic texts, on the basis of which all types of speech activity are taught. The choice of material is determined by the possibility of authentic texts to reflect the actual linguistic reality, to reveal the features of the functioning of language as a tool of natural communication. The authors give examples of exercises for different stages of the lesson based on authentic texts, describe the conditions for their implementation and the results. It has been established that the effectiveness of using authentic texts and interactive work with them is very high, and information about Russian culture, including information dissolved in authentic texts, is important for foreign students at the initial stage of learning Russian.
