В статье исследуется лингвистическая сущность знакового характера и природа языкового значения; проводится исторический анализ сущности знаковой репрезентации. В частности, особое внимание уделяется рассмотрению таких ключевых позиций как познавательно-прагматическая функция и форма знаков, различные типы знаков и т.д.; даются наиболее классические определения языка как знаковой системы, которые позволяют исследователям уяснить сложность феномена значения в структуре языкового знака и представить в динамике развитие различных семиотических проблем, процесса семиозиса как такового. Из проведенного исследования делается вывод о том, что главным достижением для понимания сущности знаковой репрезентации является разграничение трех аспектов знака: синтактики, семантики и прагматики как трех основных типов отношений, образующих три измерения семиозиса.

The article focuses on the linguistic essence of a symbolic character and nature of the language values; carries out a historical analysis of the nature of the symbolic representation. In particular, special attention is paid to the analysis of such key positions as a cognitive-pragmatic function and the form of the characters, different types of characters, etc.; it contains the classic definitions of language as a system of signs, which allow researchers to understand the complexity of the phenomenon of the values in the structure of the linguistic sign and submit to the dynamics of the development of different semiotic problems, the process of semiosis as such. From this article it is concluded that the main achievement for understanding the essence of the symbolic representation is the distinction of the three dimensions of character: the syntactic, the semantics and the pragmatics as the three main types of relationships that form the three dimensions of semiosis.
