В статье анализируются вопросы воздействия массового туризма на социокультурную среду локальных сообществ стран туристских дестинаций. Раскрываются теоретические подходы к анализу данного феномена с позиций современной социологии глобализации и туризма, обобщаются материалы различных эмпирических исследований. Отмечается амбивалентность туризма как источника новых социокультурных конфликтов, так и стимула к усилению солидарности различных общественных групп, источника возрождения, ренессанса и устойчивости локальных культур. Отмечается, что основной категорией для понимания современных обществ является категория «мобильности», когда границы государств утрачивают охранительные функции, становятся все более и более проницаемыми в процессе «переливов» капитала, технологий, продукций, человеческих ресурсов, культурных образцов и практик, независимо от их полезности и опасности для реципиентов. Подчеркивается, что интенсификация мобильности сопряжена с ростом экономических, экологических и социокультурных рисков туризма.

The article analyses the impact of mass tourism on the socio-cultural environment of the local communities of the tourism destinations. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of this phenomenon from the standpoint of the contemporary sociology of globalization and tourism and various empirical field work materials are summarized in the article. It is noted that there is an ambivalence of mass tourism flows as a source of new social and cultural conflicts, and at the same time it is an incentive to strengthen the solidarity of different social groups, the source of rebirth, renaissance and sustainability of local cultures. It is noted that the basic category for understanding modern societies is the category of "mobility" when national borders lose their protective function, are becoming more and more permeable in the "overflow" of capital, technology, production, human resources, cultural patterns and practices, regardless of their utility and risk to recipients. It is emphasized that the intensification of mobility associated with the growth of economic, environmental and socio-cultural risks of tourism.
