В статье автором рассматривается широкий круг явлений, связанных с использованием радиотрансляции как среды создания и демонстрации произведения, анализируется специфика применения радиоэфира в арт-практике ХХ века, выявляются специфические выразительные средства радио-арта, основанные на коммуникационных возможностях радио. В данном контексте автором определены понятия «радиоискусство», «радио-арт», описана специфика их возникновения и применения. Предлагается периодизация развития радио-арта и выделяются основные этапы. Показана преемственность идей и сходство задач на разных этапах художественного экспериментирования с радио. Осуществлен анализ трансформации выразительных средств литературных, театральных, словесно-музыкальных произведений, при переносе их в медиа среду (радиотрансляционную среду). На материале, относящемся к периоду с 1920 по 1990 год, автором описаны найденные медиа-художниками приемы.

In this article, the author explores a wide range of phenomena associated with the use of radio broadcasting as a medium of creation and demonstration of art work, analyses specific uses of radio in the art practice of the 20thcentury and identifies specific expressive means of radio-artas dictated bythe radio communication capabilities. In this context, the author defines the concept of "radioiskusstvo", "radio art" and explores the specifics of its origin and application. The author proposes periodization of the development of radio art and highlights its main stages. The author also shows the continuity of ideas and similarity of tasks at various stages of artistic experimentation with radio, analyses the transformation of the expressive means of literary, theatrical, verbal and musical works, when adapted for radio-broadcasting, and summarises the creative methods invented by the media artists of the 1920s to 1990s.
